  • Carlow Named 2022 Clean Energy Champion
    Buxton, Maine — Representative Nathan Carlow was named a 2022 Clean Energy Champion by Conservatives for a Clean Energy Future, an organization that educates and advocates policy solutions that advance energy independence and a clean energy future. CCEF recognized Rep. Carlow for “his dedication to advancing the cause of market-based clean energy policy,” in the enclosed statement last week. Last year, Rep. Carlow introduced a joint resolution recognizing clean energy’s importance, which passed the Maine State Legislature with broad bipartisan support. ###

    Via WMTW. Published March 29, 2021 AUGUSTA, Maine — A group of more than 50 Maine lawmakers is calling on the state to ease restrictions to allow more schools to reopen full time. The bipartisan letter, signed by 52 Republican and Democratic lawmakers, was sent to the Maine Department of Education and Maine Center for Disease Control and Prevention. The letter calls on the agencies to rescind the 3-feet physical distancing requirement for students and allow districts to develop their own plans.
