Nathan Receives Republican Nomination for House District 16

BUXTON, Me. – On July 15, Nathan Carlow announced that he won the Republican nomination for State Representative in Maine’s 16th House District. He thanked the voters as well as all the election clerks who spent long hours at Town Hall processing ballots.

Nathan’s full statement is below:

“I am honored to receive the Republican nomination for this race, and I want to thank everyone who voted. There is a lot of work to do before November, and I am confident that this primary victory will rally voters behind my common sense ideas. I come into the general election with years of local experience, a fresh perspective, and a willingness to reach across the aisle in search of policies that help the people in my District. These are the qualities that voters expect from elected leaders, and those are traits that I will bring with me to Augusta.

“I do want to also mention the tremendous dedication of election workers everywhere in our state. While I was at the polls yesterday, I had the opportunity to chat with ballot clerks in Hollis and Buxton, and I want to say how deeply appreciative I am for their willingness to serve in this important role. We are amidst a pandemic, and their work should not go unnoticed.”

Nathan comfortably won the nomination, taking 58% of the vote (457 votes).
